What if you had a "oops, your pattern is not a repeating pattern, did you mean to save it?" message and then the person would have to click yes or no. I know that I've mistakenly forgotten to change a knot or two and would have published it incorrectly had it not been for the error message about non repeating patterns.

That's a good idea craftaddict. That way both types (repeating patterns and deliberately non repeating patterns) could be published.

It is great news that non-repeating patterns will be accepted. I figure that I will be able to save my currently unsavable pattern then. A warning about non-repeating patterns sounds like a reasonable idea.
