I bought neon colored DMC embriodery thread at the craft store. the only thing is- every time i tie a double knot, it comes apart. It looks and feels silky, so that is a major problem considering i have paid costumers wanting neon bracelets. the last time i used neon on a bracelet, it look all messed up. anyone have any tricks or helpful ideas to help the string stay in place and not fall out ? Please and Thanks!!!! |

they have this product call thread heaven at Michaels. you rub/run your string through the wax(at least that is what I think it is) and it will keep the string from knotting or coming apart. I saw it on a website and can't wait to get some. I had the same problem with the neon sting when I was doing some cross-stitch projects. |

I have found rubbing your stings over a damp bar of soap works wonders. Just don't forget to wash it off after your finished. :) |

You could always buy white string and neon dye. You could make your own colors, too :) |
