I'm probably the only person who has a problem with this but ; I've tried atleast 3 different kinds of Letter Making tutorials, and none of them work out for me. I've been making bracelets for a while, so it's not like i'm new to it.

The step-by-step on this website is probably the most understandable one but whenever i get to the part where you're supposed to knot the letter color over the background color, it doesn't look right. i don't know how to explain it other than if i'm knotting to my right, doing the backwards knots with the background color, when i do the forward knot over the background color, my row starts to slope down, and it looks like a hot mess.

anybody know what i'm doing wrong?

i am having the exact same problem!!! i have had 3 tries and 2 different ways and my string heeps slopping down!!
