haha.. me too! and i find myself reorginising it like.. twice a week! it has to be neat an tidy! im the same with all my beading stuff. my friends think im crazy!

I used to organize it all the time, because I have OCPD. But I think I have a pretty neat system down now :D

i think ima use the baggie ring.

what you can do is keep in the skien form and just pull the end as you need it hope this helps

I know this thread is old, but I figured I'd lend an idea anyway. I started my keeping all my skiens in a plastic bag, but then I had too much string, so I started thinking of a way to improve my storage. I liked keeping them on skiens too, so I ended up with this from walmart. It already had (crappy) string in it, so I took them out. It worked fine for a while, until, again, I had more string than would fit in it.

So, I ended up getting a box and bobbins like everyone else. Again, I have soo much thread, I am getting another box and bobbins. XP
A winder is esential if you go with bobbins, and hobby lobby has them for .99 cents.
