Peruvian Bracelet Strings by fbmagic 14 years ago

So I am making Peruvian bracelets right now with nylon string and embroidery floss but the embroidery floss is kind of bugging me cause it looks kind of like a cheap imitation. So I heard the real string you are supposed to use for it is macrame and nylon but I can't find any macrame that is thin enough. Someone please hep! Where can I find some or is that even the right string?

What you use for peruvian bracelets is 1mm micro-macrame cord, the best site I saw for this was http://www.store.jewelsinfiber.com/nylon.html please tell me what you think of it, because I want to order some, but I don't know if it's the right thickness. They got like 104 colors, and they're really cheap for like a huge roll (like $4.00 for like a 300 Yard roll)

This is a random question but does anyone know what size 10 crochet thread measures up to in millimeters? (The thickness not the length)
