First of all, I LOVE friendship bracelets... Making them, sharing them, giving them to friends, receiving them from friends... All very fun.

However, I am not so good with thread, and the patterns with more threads than other (say 12+) become confusing; I can't seem to get it right.

I was wondering how possible it would be to commission a skilled bracelet maker to make a certain bracelet for me? (for a price, of course, you name it...) Is this illegal? Frowned upon? I don't know.

I don't think it's been a particular problem before, but I'm normally in the wrong country.. making the postage of the completed bracelet higher than it needs to be.

there are tons of friendship bracelets on etsy.com for cheap prices.

Um... well, Etsy has a lot of nice bracelets, but the reason for wanting to commission is because I have a specific bracelet in mind...
