I was thinking to make a collar for my cat,but I actually don't know how to finish it,because normal closings would maybe be too tight or too loose. So I was wondering if anyone could suggest me some nice ways to end a collar ^_^
What clips should I use?

For my cat I kept tying until it fit nicely around his neck and then I tied the two ends together

But isn't it dangerous for them to tie the two ends?

I made it big enough that if he got caught on something he could slip out of it.

Well I would be too afraid to do this... :D
Do you have some ideas about clips at the end? :D

maybe a breakaway clip like the kind that is on lanyards

I suggest buying a plain collar for your pet and sewing it on with like-thread. :)
