This isn't the best pattern to start. It has too many strings and is too complicated for a total beginner.
You should start with pattern 1-10 (or at least some of them), try to follow these patterns. Also have a look at the tutorial section. There are some tutorials that explain how to read patterns in general and show how to do certain ones.
Try to understand how these work, how they are read, then you should be able to understand this pattern as well.

if you're absolutely new to bracelet making i wouldn't start with this big pattern, start with small patterns first to pratice...
if the problem is that you don't know how to read this pattern you should first visit https://www.friendship-bracelets.net/learn.php to learn knots and see what each symbol in pattern means after that get knots and knot pattern row by row (it's easier to explain that way although i would knot this pattern differently)

1. row: with 1st and 2nd thread make 1 forward/backward knot (1 FK/BK),
with 3rd and 4th thread make 1 FK/BK
with 5th and 6th thread make 1 FK/BK
with 7th and 8th thread make 1 forward knot (1 FK)
with 9th and 10th thread make 1 BK/FK (backward/forward knot)
with 11th and 12th thread make 1 BK/FK
with 13th and 14th thread make 1 BK/FK
with 15 and 16th thread make 1 FK/BK
with 17 and 18th thread make 1 FK
with 19th and 20th thread make 1 FK/BK
with 21th and 22nd thread make FK/BK
with 23rd and 24th thread make 1 FK
with 25th and 26th thread make 1 BK/FK
with 27th and 28th thread make 1 BK/FK
with 29th and 30th thread make 1 BK/FK
continue to 2nd row
2. row with 2nd and 3rd thread make 1 BK
with 4th and 5th thread make 1 BK and so on...

in 2nd method (i prefer this one) i would do

with first and second thread make 1 FK/BK
with 3rd thread (white one) make 1 FK/BK, and 2 BK
with 5th thread make 1 FK/BK and 4 BK
with 7th thread make 1 FK and 6 BK
it's little complicated to explain this way because you have to know what to knot first
(i would first knot white parts on both sides of the bracelet and then black parts and so on)

i hope i helped a little but again if it's your first time knotting i wouldn't recommend this pattern for you.
