Is it me or is it getting harder and harder to get your patterns published as they have all been done before?

with our stricter rules we are trying to encourage more original patterns, and not just variations of pattern we already have with minute changes. that way the good patterns won't vanish in a sea of duplicates, and the pattern page won't be full of patterns that never get made.
