it could be simpler than the pic. leaving out the red stripes that go diagonally would be okay. it would be amazing if someone would do this for me! or if you could just point me in the direction of a pattern

Hehe, I was wondering that too. But I think this pattern could be make into a "normal" pattern. Give me one day and I'll try to make it.
