Just an idea, but what about opening up a multilingual subforum so people can ask questions and have discussions in Spanish/French/Arabic/Swahili?

Forum rule #8: If you are going to post non-English on these forums, please also post an English Translation of your post.

I understand what the status quo currently is. My suggestion is basically to consider changing that to be more accommodating. Online translators are notoriously lousy, and there are certain specific terms used in this forum that probably wouldn't go through properly, so for people who really don't speak English, it's not a great solution.

A future development task is to implement multilanguage support for the whole site. I already got translators for Swedish and Spanish.
The problem if subforums in other languages would be added now, is that entries in foreign languages would appear in the newsfeed, which is a problem... That's why that forum rule exist.
