Questions about Normal Pattern Gen.

I am new here and have been trying to make a pattern that I thought up. Everytime i try to do more than 6 knots however it skips down to the new row. So how do you add more strings into the pattern so it recognizes it and doesnt auto skip me down a row? |

Yeah I have the same problem because I'm trying to make something with 10 knots. |

I'm not sure I know exactly what you mean, but there has to be an even number of rows in order for the pattern to match up when repeated. |

I'm newto this site,and I have no idea how to work the generator.I have the same problems as others with the knot thingamajig and I don't know what the D,R,r, and d stand for so I'm super confused. I'm trying to make my friend a bracelet with his name on it but it's so confusing. Can anyone help me please!? |
