Hey everyone,

I'm pretty new at this..just made my first bracelet the other day with simple forward knots. Today, I looked up this website and decided to try to make an alpha bracelet. I was able to make my own pattern, but I have no idea how long the strings should be. All I know is that the background colored string should be longer than the others. What is the average string length that you guys use?

I use embroidery floss and I leave that hole cause I almose use it all (for the background) and for the other color(s) I usualy cut that around 3ft. I always extra, but i'd sooner have to much than not enough! Hope that helps! :]
