I [HEART] pattern by stargirl13 13 years ago

Hey guys & gals! I'm trying to make an ALPHA pattern that says I [HEART] MCS

the [HEART] is where I want an actual heart... can anybody help me with creating this?

RE: I [HEART] pattern by stargirl13 13 years ago

Oh and I want it to be a 3 color ALPHA pattern.
Btw, I was looking at this heart pattern https://www.friendship-bracelets.net/alpha_pattern.php?id=11857

Could anybody tell me what the arrows that are pointing straight down, what knot that is?

this is mine. :) and that knot is the opposite of fk or bk. if u go from left to right the down arrow will be from right to left. if u go from right to left the arrow will be from left to right.

I've tried using the generator to make my own pattern but then I don't know how to do the knots. I need one that's kinda like this pattern https://www.friendship-bracelets.net/367
but I need the guide for the knots. I'm so confused!

Here is mine! https://www.friendship-bracelets.net/alpha_pattern.php?id=2006
Well with alphas you are going back and forth across every string with your background color otherwise what is showing the color orange? arrows. Then the arrows going down means that they are going to be going the opposite way that you are going with the background color. :) sorry that probably didn't make sense. :(

thanks fbmagic, it makes sense but do you know how i'd line up the strings and how many of each color i'd need
