I have just started making friendship bracelets, and I must say I prefer the Alpha patterns as they are quicker to do and also a little more adventurous in design.
To use multi colors in an alpha pattern I learnt from a youtube tutorial video. (Youtube is your friend!)
Now I have started designing my own Alpha patterns and would love to see them remade by other people.

there are some fantastic designs on this site and recommend it to anyone, both for beginners and the intermediate.
