I'm still kind of a newb at braclet making. I did the "candy stripe" and "staircase" growing up. I guess you could call me a "late bloomer". But I'm really excited about making some of these beautiful, more complex patterns. I started off by playing with the pattern generator (normal), so that helped me really understand pattern reading and making. I made my first pattern! #40950 It's really just the rag rug knot pattern (8 strings) but with 3 colors. I was really just playing around trying to make a "camo" pattern for someone. When I first decided I wanted to learn friendship braclet making, I started by finding tutorials on YT and came across the best YT channel for the best tutorials called Beyond Braclets.(http://www.youtube.com/user/BeyondBracelets ) The young woman that runs the channel is incredibly talented and has more tutorials than just friendship braclets. As well as an online store for some of her beautiful and unique handmade jerelry. She was nice enough to direct me to this amazing wealth of information that is Friendship-Braclets.net! I'll post pics of patterns I attempt. Erin B)
