cellphone pouch by Frosty 14 years ago

karxalc was going to make a cellphone pouch so I thought I share the one I made.

I made 2 long bracelets of 28 threads each and joined them together down the middle. THen I made a shorter one for the flap, joined it to the pouch and added a press stud so I could poen and close it. I made a very short 14 thread one for the loop and added a lanyan to go around my neck. Here are some photos. Sorry if they're blurry.

That looks great! Never thought about doing it like that =)
I like the loop idea.
Here are other ways of making a pouch that I found, I'm thinking of making something similar to the 3rd link, but I want to close it in a different way.

OH MY GOD!!! this is amazing!!!!!
a) how did this take?
b) wow you must have used a ton of string
c) did you have to sew anything together?

RE: cellphone pouch by Frosty 14 years ago

Yes it did take a while because I was having to work out how to do it as I went. However I'd say it would take me about a week or less now.

Yes it used heaps of string but I use balls of knitting cotton so it doesn't cost much.

Yes I sewed the two bands together and the flap to the top and the loop.

It's great though cause I never hear my phone when it's in my bag.
