Rather than making a bracelet, I wanted to make some straps to adorn cell phones (or any other electronic device they could hang from).

I bought these at my local craft store, as I'm adding other charms to it as well.

I generated some text with the name pattern generator, and I was going to start it a loop. However, I'm unsure as to how to end it.

I'm new to all of this, and I don't know technique names to search the tutorials for. What I'm looking for is something that would loop at the top, but end with two corners, so it would almost look like a rectangle.

Actually i cant exactly help you coz i am in a same confusion .I am also wondering for a tutorial i want to make a strap for my keychain.Its pattern is somewhat like loop.

The link that you posted wasn't working but I suggest maybe if you want to make it like a chain or loop, you put a button on it to connect it to the loop. Buttons are very easy to put on.
