Hi :)

I've been making bracelets for about 5 months now and I've noticed that they don't always stay straight, they get wider, then thinner, then wider, then thinner.
Am I pulling the strings too tightly or something?

You just don't make knots always the same way. It doesn't actually matter if you do it tight or loose - because that depends on the type of bracelet - but you should make it always with the same strenght. That would make your bracelet the same width on all its length.

when you tie the knots don't make some tight and some loose. that might be your problem... also use the same kind of string for each color. some strings are thicker than others.

that happened to me too!!!! It pretty much solves the problem to decide on how tight you will secure/tie the knots, and then just remember that one way! it might take a while for the problem to go away completely, but just keep practicing knots- good luck!
