i want to make a simple mutil pattern but i dont know what to start off with

I would suggest doing any small 2 color alpha you like.

i started off by doin something really really simple it was a bracelet for my then bf it just had a name and i lil face and i only used like 3 or 4 colours ;)

try the skittles pattern
it doesn't have a lot of base strings
and it's colorful
it's just a repetitive pattern so it's easy
