what is the best thread material to use for alpha bracelets?

Embroidery floss works the best for all kinds of bracelets.
Yarn would be the second best, if you like thicker bracelets.

Do not try Satin... if you just started making bracelets

I recently start to use wax thread. For me it works so much better than embroidery floss. The material stays really neat, even after wearing it 24 hours a day or if you swim or shower with the bracelets :).
@Killshotz: I tried with satin once, too. That didn't work out all, you are right!
