i agree michaels is expensive and i went joann's and the were much cheaper by $4 dollars for the same thing.

I've never seen thread that cheap at my Joanns, it's always 37 cents where Michael's is 35. Usually, I got to Michael's, but I would also check Ebay, they have tons of deals. You can also get some brands like Anchor and J&P Coats that work just as well as DMC.

Oh and also, you can use a 40% off coupon at Michaels and buy one of those plastic boxes of popular colors or whatever. 36 skeins for $10.80.
I missed a sale on Saturday- everything was 25% off with a coupon. So bummed I missed it :(
