connecting finished patterns by candiceye 14 years ago

hello all,

i really admire monacha for making bracelets that are connected at the end with some metal chain bit. any one has any suggestions as to how i can go about turning my creations into bracelets like hers as well?

Well if you live in canada or the usa i guess you could go to micheals the craft store and buy some metal clamps. But also you can do buckle (in step-by-step) at the end would also look nice!
Hope i helped bye!

Also you and Tye it like it says in the "Learn" at the top of this page then when you finish with the bracelet just put the end into the loop do twice

I really want to get some Silver Leather Fold-Over End Crimps, their whats used on cord necklaces and would be perfect for clasps :)

I haven't tried these yet, but I've seen them used by one of the members here. They're called ribbon clamps, and they keep the ends of your bracelet flat. Attach a large jump ring to one end and a small jump ring with a clasp to the other and you're set! The only drawback is they are not "one size fits all".

wonder how Hook and Eye clasps ,. like the ones on bras,. would work ,. would have to sew them on,. but i think it could give a even cleaner look if done right!

Would've never thought of that, but that would definitely work! And those would be a lot easier to find without having to order online.

yeah,. i think my local wall-mart has them, and probably cheaper too
