Introduction

This may be the easiest bracelet to make, ever. My husband is a Marine and he showed me a way he was using to carry rope by tying it a certain way and i thought it would look neat as a bracelet so i tried it and it turned out great! the effect sort of looks like a braid!

Materials and Set Up

You can have however many strings and colors you like!
start your bracelet however you like, i generally use a simple braid so that i can make adjustable bracelets.

Step by Step

Step 1

wrap your thread around two fingers like you are tying a knot, instead of pulling the string through entirely make it a loop and pull tight, be carefull not to pull the entire string through the loop.

Step 2

REPEAT
keep doing this until you reach your desired length

Step 3

when doing your last loop just pull the entire string through the loop and finish your bracelet!

WARNING: if you pull the end of your string back through the loop before finishing it it will unravel! try to keep your loops about two finger widths wide and you are good to go!

NOTE: i will upload a video as soon as i can, if needed
