Hi there, stranger! Pleased to meet you. If you'd like, sit and hear (well, read) my story :)

I am not actually shaped like a pear, though I do find them yummy. My name comes from a funny British expression for things going wrong. They say things went "pear shaped", as opposed to everything being "just peachy" :P

My cousin taught me to make a diamond pattern bracelet a long time ago. Back then I had no idea about knot types and patterns and that was the only thing I knew how to make. Plus I was using bad string, knotting too tight, well, you can imagine ;)

I recently got back into making friendship bracelets as a way of keeping busy while on my first vacation in 3 years (!). So I discovered this site and all the wonderful patterns and friendly, helpful people on here. I absolutely love it and hope I'll be here to stay.

Nowadays, I knot away in the evenings as a way to relieve stress and have some fun, my way. I might be a little slow to make bracelets (only knotting for an hour or two a day and being a beginner), but rest assured, pictures will be coming :)

Besides that... I'm from an undisclosed location in Europe but I know reside in this little place I call Californiee. And that's about it. Happy knotting! :)
