Hi, just an idea. What if we could set up a thread to keep track of who is working on a pattern that doesn't yet have a photo, so that there won't be two (or more) people trying to submit a 'first photo' (APAP) for a pattern. Or is there one already and I can't find it? :-|
Sometimes I look at 'no photo' patterns, but I'm uncertain if I should try it, thinking: But what if someone else is working on it?? :-)
Admittedly I haven't made any for awhile...might do again anytime though...

I think it is a cool idea even though I think it is very unlikely that someone coincidentally works on the same pattern.

I think it’s a good idea :-) It might stimulate more people to try a pattern that doesn’t have a picture yet.

As a fellow APAP supporter, I'm very excited for this idea! I also agree with Kleinevos when she said it would help stimulate more APAP action :)

One more idea: someone could request an APAP (if they are unable to do it or just want someone to try it) and then someone else would accept it and make it? IDK, just throwing it out there :-)

We already have a challenge similar to that, where the one who requests it also picks the colorscheme. Does that make it less attractive to join that challenge?
