I’ve created a couple bracelet designs and I can’t figure out how to get them started. Can someone help?

These starts are a bit complicated, so just tie a knot if this is your first bracelet.

You can double the length of your thread fold it in half and tie a knot and it will make a loop. Here is a link to a video that has many different ways to start and finish a bracelet.
