pet collars by gggggracccceee 3 years ago

I’ve recently gotten really into friendship bracelets as pet collars. does anyone have any tips for these or photos of their own?

Best not to use floss, crochet thread or yarns. tend to break too easy. Crochet nylons (#18) seem to work out good with both my cats and a neighbors small dog. Paracord is a really good choice. you can use what they call liners (i think ), are thinner type of paracord if you want more detail.

I have not tried c-lon or s-lon yet so don't know for sure if that would hold up. It is also exspenive but come in really nice colors.

Ive seen pictures of dog/pet collars here before, they sometimes sew the knotted bracelet onto a fabric-type collar

That would make it a lot more sturdy and functional
but if you just want it to be decorative, it doesnt matter too much what you make it with
plastic buckles would be the easiest way to fasten it
