I’ve been playing around making Kumihimo bracelets with the 2mm stuff but it starts to get rather large. I just got a 64 slot disk so I can do the patterns up to 40 strings. What size is recommended so it’s not a rope instead of a bracelet?

I use different sizes, from size 10 crochet thread to yarn that’s 125 meter per 50 gram. It depends on what size kumihimo you prefer. For 40 strings you can use anything similar to the size of floss or thinner, although a bit thicker also works fine for me.

Floss is similar to size 5 crochet yarn.
