I saw the double starry night bracelet people have posted under the starry night bracelet tutorial, and I am wondering how many of each threads were used.

I think there's also a tutorial on how to double a pattern in the tutorial section. I'd say since the pattern is doubled probably twice the amount of strings.

Yes, twice the amount, but note that I used borderstrings, so for doubling leave out the first and last (border-)string, double the amount of strings, and then add border-strings on both edges again if you like. Or leave them out, just as you prefer.
