hi. i want to make a new pattern. how can i make it?

You just go to the "Generate" tab (its third tab across) at the top of any page an then you can pick if you want to make a normal pattern or an alpha pattern.

Go to the generate tab, the third one from the right, and choose the type of pattern you want. (you might need to get java)
