Hi everyone :) i need help ... does anyone know how to converter an image to an alpha pattern ?? i need to make my own alpha pattern with a logo

I always use an app for that purpose : Touch Mosaic or Magic Mosaic (IPad). We have a tutorial that explains how to use Paint to make alpha-patterns.
You can pixelize images that way,but you need to adjust it yourself to make that into a nice, clear pattern.
