First, I think you will understand my bad English...
I tried to create/find patterns I found elsewhere on the internet, and the generators redirects me to a pattern that already exist. But when I look for it on the website, it tells me that the pattern doesn't exist. I know that it refers to a pattern which was accepted but already existed and got deleted. But how can I find this similar pattern?
As an example, I have the problem with K1190.

J'ai un l?ger souci avec le g?n?rateur de kumihimos. Je l'utilise, entre autres, pour retrouver des mod?les que j'ai trouv? ailleurs, et les enregistrer s'ils sont absents du site et int?ressants. Cependant, le g?n?rateur me signale parfois que ces mod?les exisent d?j? (je sais, c'est normal.) Cependant, il me redirige vers un autre mod?le, qui lui, n'existe plus. Comment retrouver le mod?le qui l'a remplac??
J'ai par exemple ce probl?me avec le K1190.

Hm, strange. When I type in 1190 in the search box, K1190 is one of the results, which is also accessible (so not rejected). Please try this link:

To find similars within the kumihimo patterns is indeed not so easy, because we can't add them there like in the normal or alpha pattern section. But we always try to add at least some similars in the description box.

I think I did a mistake while copying what the generator said. It is absolutely not the same pattern, my one only had 8 strings...

I think it should work, when you take only the pattern's number (without the 'K'), open any kumihimo pattern and then replace the number in the end of the link with the one you search for:
