Bij de HEMA hebben ze nu 50 borduurgaren voor 6,95. Ik denk dat je behalve bij de action het niet goedkoper kan krijgen hier :)

Ja het zijn wel beperkte kleuren maarja.. Ik wou dat we nety als in the USA zoveel konden kopen voor zo weinig :(

Just buy crochet-yarn, that's much cheaper and comes in a lot of different colors. Cheap floss is often also not of good quality....

Koop gewoon haakkatoen, is veel goedkoper en dat is er in heel veel kleuren. Goedkoop borduurgaren is vaak ook van slechte kwaliteit.....

nee hoor is prima kwaliteit ;)

voor armbandjes vind ik katoen ook een beetje lomp staan.. ik vind persoonlijk borduurgaren het mooist uitkomen daarbij. met grotere projecten is katoen natuurlijk veel handiger :-)

Je hebt katoen en katoen :-) Er bestaat haakkatoen dat dunner is dan borduurgaren, en ook dat is er in vele kleuren. En mijn armbanden zijn toch ook niet lomp?

There is cotton yarn, and there is cotton yarn :-) It comes in many different sizes, also thinner than floss, in many different colors. My bracelets aren't bulky, are they ?

Het ligt er een beetje aan wat je gewend bent, als ik lang met borduurgaren werk vind ik katoen ook lomp, terwijl ik het heel vaak gebruik. En er zegt niemand dat uw armbanden lomp zijn, ik kijk juist vaak bij fotos van jou en Eric en Foz enz omdat het inspirerend is.

It depends a bit on what you 're usually do, as I think that working long with embroidery thread I cotton rag , and I often use it . And no one says your bracelets are rude , I look just often in photos of you and Eric and Foz etc. because it is inspiring.

It sure also is personal preference. I think thinner strings are delicate/fragile, but that's ofcourse because I'm used to working with thicker strings. I do like the thinner strings for alphas and bigger kumis though.

Het is ook persoonlijke voorkeur natuurlijk. Ik vind dunne draadjes kwetsbaar/ iel, maar dat is natuurlijk vooral omdat ik dikker garen gewend ben. Ik gebruik de dunnere garens wel graag voor alpha-patronen en kumis.

Engels is hier nu eenmaal de voertaal. We willen niemand uitsluiten. Iedereen kan meepraten over de dunne/dikke draden kwestie toch ? :-)

English is the language we use here. We don't want to exclude anyone. Everybody can participate in this conversation about thicker or thinner strings, can't they? :-)
