I visited that site a few times but alot of the patterns look familiar and it's just sad they take credit for patterns made by other people :<

I can make a list here as well:

What a credit - they don't even mention it...

We are never going to win this war which is terrible. The admins on that page seem to have no backbones as to punishing the users that steal designs. It's pathetic. Feel sorry for those thieves since they have no creativity in their minds and have to steal it from others.

I hope I'm just being paranoid now and the patterns below were actually made by the same person on both sites:

Really, I'm upset by this because I have a lot of respect for the people that spent time making wonderful patterns for those like me who still haven't gotten their head around creating their own.

I don't much care if we increase their views momentarily while we search for stolen patterns -- I just really wish the users here would stand up for themselves, go to BB and tell them to remove those stolen patterns!

the admins are really pissing me off; they hide behind a ridiculous pretense of wanting to stick to the law (since, apparently a user threatened to sue them for removing HIS/HER property), while they're really just sticking their heads in the ground and don't do anything about the stealing, just to protect their own butts. it can't possibly be legal to claim ownership of something just because they posted it on BB if it has been here or a different site for YEARS prior. clearly, it is not their property, and they have no right to it whatsoever.

my thoughts are they could avoid SO MUCH of this hassle if they'd just pattern-check like we do here. if patterns are caught BEFORE they are posted I think users make a whole lot less fuss about it. we at least have had no arguments from users once we post the link to the site where the patterns originated (or so few it hardly counts).

I ask you again to PLEASE defend your property -- even if it's "just" a pattern. there are several users (like CWillard) who stole a whole bunch of patterns from here -- and I think I know why.

BB has a ranking system for their users. so, the more patterns you have, the higher ranking. which, in my opinion, encourages many young (and shameless) users to steal patterns to look better to the other users.
