What would be the ideal length for a bracelet? Does it depend on amount of strings? I want to start one tomorrow and it has 2 colors with 16 strings. What I always did when I did the simple ones was wrap it around my wrist loosely about 5 or 6 times, this one is not as simple. Any suggestions?

Length for the bracelet or strings to make it?
Bracelets are normally 5-6 inches. However the string to make them depends on the pattern a string that makes more knots will need to be longer. Usually I start with 60 inches.

My best advice is starting with 180 centimeters,that more or less are the equivalent of 72 inches.In that way you can easily add the buckle and even make a braid out of the remaining threads so you can tie it in an easy way,after that it's all practice,try to see how much string goes left,and the time after,correct the lenghts
