its just now i experienced that my thread is short. any tips on how to extend the thread? is it right ill just make extension with a knot? Thank you.

Yes i do it all the time. I extend my strings with a knot.
Only problem is knotting it until the knot passes. After that your good. So try getting rid of the knot, by tying whatever pattern your working on. Once the knot goes into the background , It's all cool from there :D
