becaus threads cant be posted again with other colours i think :

you should be able te insert the coulers of the thread on the pattern page eg.
thread colour 1 : ...
thread colour 2 : ...
...

when the colours are filled in the patern should change colour.

this will make it easyer to :
-read the braceletif you 're not using the same colour
-see which colours are nice for a bracelet

RE: thread colour by wojo 14 years ago

that would be really nice

You can edit the colors of a bracelet through gimp, a free photo editing software.
You have to change the image to an rbg image through mode first, and to select a certain color, hold down ctrl + o
Theres a paint bucket tool on the right, and once you select that, you need to select fill whole section, pick your color, and paint the selected area that color :)

Hi, Im doing a pattern that I want to change the colors so I want all the reds white and all the whites red, I have gimp but I got a little confused with your directions could you go into detail? thanks

RE: thread colour by wojo 14 years ago

what i do is a lot of the time i just take any color and
if it is a low number of strings (which i usually do use im
not a big fan of making bracelets with a lot of strings)
and i just remember that i used a different color thanwat it said and remembered the color you could even write it along side of the pattern if you print it out

What pattern is this? I can edit it for you if you'd like :)

RE: thread colour by mgmeboy 14 years ago

Im doing the heart pattern #2282 and Im really new to this so when I got back to the top I tried to think of white as red and red as white but I got confused and messed up the whole thing. So I was hoping to print out the original and then the reversed so I could follow it easier, Thanks

There you go!
It'll end up changing anyway at the end of each repetition, though. That's just how the pattern is.
