STEP 1: Cut your strings, pick three colors and cut three strings of two of the colors and four strings of the other so you should have ten strings. you can also do this with five colors and cut two of four colors and 3 of the other one.STEP 2: Tie all your strings together and separate them so they are divided by color. Make sure the first color is the one you cut four strings of. so it should go AAAABBBCCC if that makes sense
STEP 3: Begin the knots, with the first color tie three forward knots on to each of the other strings of that color.
STEP 4: With the second color first string tie a backward forward knot onto the string you just finished using. Then tie two forward knots onto the next two strings of the second color.
STEP 5: Repeat step 4 but with the last color
STEP 6: Repeat steps 3-5 until bracelet is desired length
Tie a knot to finish and congratulations you have make a bracelet with vertical stripes
