How to Organize String for any Regular Bracelet.

I've been using this technique for a while now. It's very helpful if you are doing large patterns. Begin step 1 after choosing your pattern and cutting the strings.

Step 1: Begin by making a loop. The larkshead or barnacle knot works the best. See tutorial for further instructions on how to do the larks head or barnacle knot: https://www.friendship-bracelets.net/tutorial.php?id=3282

Step 2: Look at the pattern. Often, the pattern will have the same two colours in the very middle. Seperate those two strings from either side.

Step 3: Using the first string you seperated, begin knotting it from the far left side to the middle. This is where you look at the pattern and start to organize the strings. This is almost like starting a chevron, organizing the strings by the order and colour.

Step 4: Do the same from the far right side knotting to the left towards the middle.

Step 5: Knot the two together once they are in the very middle.

Step 6: Continue with the first step of your pattern. You are now ready to work on the rest of your bracelet!
