(( Bracelets )) Leguana

It's a hot day so I thought I'd make another tutorial for you guys.

It's a 10 string bracelet and in this tutorial I have used:

4 Dark green (D)
2 Light green (G)
2 Orange (O)
2 Red (R)

You must be comfortable knotting chevrons and inverted chevrons to do this bracelet. The key is care and patience.

You will need the lengths of the greens quite a bit longer than the Orange shades. Start your bracelet as you normally would have have your strings in the starting order of:

D, G, D, R, O, O, R, D, G, D like in the photo below

This bracelet consists of 11 rows of knotting before repeating back to the first step so goes the step by step photo's and I've added a video on the end incase your confused or want to see how it's done or laugh at me take your pick :P

1. You want to make the start of a chevron shape using the dark green from the left and then from the right.

2. With the light green repeat the chevron shape again.

3. Finally with the 2nd dark green from the edges complete your 3rd chevron row.

Your string order should now be: R, O, D, G, D, D, G, D, O, R

4.To make this easier grab your red and orange strings and move them out of the way so your left with different green strings. So your now working with 6 strings instead of 10. Take your dark green from the edges and make a smaller chevron shape over the light green and green.

5. You want to do the same again with the light green making a chevron over the darker green.

6. And finally the last dark green make your last chevron row.

You should now be back in the same order as step 3: R, O, D, G, D, D, G, D, O, R

7. Take the dark green next to the orange on the left side and make 4 backward knots over the orange and red. If it helps move the rest of the strings out of the way.

You want to repeat this on the right hand side using the dark green make 4 forward knots over the orange and red.

8. Take the light green on the left side and make 6 backward knots over the orange, red and dark green string.

And the same again on the right side take the light green and make 6 forward knots over the orange, red and dark green threads.

9. From the centre take the Dark green on the left and make 8 backward knots over the orange, red, dark green and light green threads.

And the same on the right side grab the dark green and make 8 forward knots over the orange, red, dark green and light green. You should now be back to the order you started with: D, G, D, R, O, O, R, D, G, D
