I am an artist currently specializing in macrame jewelry.
I am most interested in this site for the forums and patterns/gallery.
I am relatively new to making friendship bracelets, but there is a lot of crossover between standard macrame patterns and those of friendship bracelets.
I have a website and I also sell on Etsy under the same name, but have to redo my store and add new items.
I'm disabled and sometimes it is very hard to be creative. I have a lot of pain and mental problems, and sometimes just getting out of bed seems daunting.
Learning how to make [easy] friendship bracelets seems to help me because I don't find them "scary" like I do some macrame patterns, but they also give me an excuse to make things.
I am currently working on a fundraiser to start selling bracelets for Project Semicolon. The project was founded on the basis that the symbol of the semicolon indicates that one should pause (not quit), that their story isn't over yet. It is to prevent suicide and aid with depression, something I struggle with.
