I'm sure, that this is a known bug, but sometimes, when I click on a circle in the generator to change its colour, some of the colours randomly switch around (for example all the red circles turn black and all the black circles turn red). Sometimes colours get merged in the process or the outlines of the pattern just disappear.

Yes, that’s a known bug. The kumihimo generator has several bugs, but it’s not a priority to fix that. It seems like it’s hard to find the exact problem. So maybe in the future it’s best to have a completely new generator.
