Hallo,
Kann mir Jemand sagen wo ich eine Anleitung finde, wie ich Kumihimo's mit 20, 24, und mehr Fäden knüpfen muss? Ich habe Muster mit 40 (!) Fäden gefunden, die super schön sind. Aber nirgends eine Anleitung. Dafür reicht ja dann auch die "normale" 32er Scheibe nicht. Wieviele Schlitze, braucht man für so viele Fäden?

Um deine Frage zu beantworten, es funktioniert genauso wie Kumihimos mit weniger Fäden. Du könntest dir einfach eine Scheibe mit mehr Schlitzen basteln.

To answer your question, it works the same way as kumihimos with less strings. You could just make a disk with more slits yourself.

The Kongoh Gumi, which is the most common round kumihimo, is made in pairs of string. It’s best to have two open slots between each pair, so a 24 slots disc for a 12 string kumihimo. But you can do with less. You can leave out one of every two open slots. So you can make a 24 string kumi on a disc with 36 slots. For a 40 string kumi you need 60 slots.
If you’re not afraid of losing track you can even have less slots. You only really need an open space when you move a string there. And when you’ve moved a string you make a new open slot for the next move.
