An Easier Way to Fasten Bracelets

If you are having trouble creating the buckle fasten, you could always buy hooks and loops like the kind that are found on necklaces. I just tie the strings around the loop before i make the bracelet. when i'm done with the bracelet, i tie the hook on the other end. it makes it seem professional and it is easier to take on and off. :) |

I used to do that too. I just seem to have a problem with the string breaking or I lose the hooks, so I stopped doing it. It was simply frustration for me. haha. Plus, I wouldn't have to buy hooks all the time. For the buckle design, it wasn't hard, but I figured to do my take on it. So, I made the first half of the buckle (the loop) and tied a leftover button I would have at the end of bracelet. So I just button the bracelet itself. I ended up doing this because the end of the buckle varied on the size of the wrist, the design and whatnot. :) |
