I noticed on my bracelets that because I tie them fairly tightly, they naturally want to curl inside out. When someone who is seeing a loose friendship bracelet for the first time picks it up to try on they tend to put it on their arm in the direction it seems to want to go, which results in it going on backwards.
In other words, it may be an honest (unknowing) mistake.

It bothers me a little bit, I never wear my bracelets like that but some people I know do. And I'm perfectly okay with that. :)

It Bother's me as well, but i think that the only one that i prefer backwards are the knitted bracelets, especially if the colors blend well together, it looks really nice that way only in my opinion
