Hi all,

I'm trying to make this bracelet, https://www.friendship-bracelets.net/pattern.php?id=5009, #5009, but I want to switch the colors to match the versions some other people have made and don't know how. I'm looking for a way to make this https://www.friendship-bracelets.net/gallery.php?id=6154 and especially this https://www.friendship-bracelets.net/gallery.php?id=9252. What do I have to do to the pattern?

You don't have to do anything. Just instead of using one color, use the color you want and follow that pattern. Like, with pattern #1, the stripes, if I wanted to do black and green instead of yellow and blue, I would replace yellow on the pattern with green string, and blue on the pattern with black string. You follow the pattern, but use different colors in it. Hope this helps!

I agree with mockingjay. It does take a bit of practice before you can actually substitute the colors in your head, though. If you're good with gimp, you can change the colors using that software. That's what I usually do to see how colors will work out together :)
