Can pattern #8744 be segment knotted? Is there even any reason to segment knot it?

I'm still new to bracelet making and VERY new to segment knotting. I want to get this bracelet done quickly though.

You can knot it diagonally instead of row-by-row, which is sort of the same as when you are segment knotting.
