when to start row from right side? by fable_99 5 years ago

I made a Chevron that came out perfect, my first ever bracelet...now Im trying a different bracelet but it looks loose and weird. I noticed on some youtube videos that they move left to right then right to left when doing rows and meeting in the middle...some videos its all left to right every row...what indicates this in the pattern??

Hi!
This all depends on the pattern you're knnotting, and on how it's built :)
Most of our patterns don't really follow an arrow or a line, but rather sections.
Have a look at this tutorial -> https://www.friendship-bracelets.net/tutorial.php?id=5438
I think it could help you figuring out how your pattern is made :)
Hope it helped!

You can knot anyway you prefer. I prefer knotting in sections, because that is faster and more intuitive for me. But whatever works for you is fine. Practice makes perfect :-)

You can knot each pattern in several ways. You can knot in sections, but I think row by row is easier especially for a beginner and it works for each pattern.
