Question regarding posting pics in bracelet request forum section by LilFleur 5 years ago

Hi there! I found a bracelet I want to make for myself, and after spending hours browsing this site and the Web, I have been unable to track it down. I wanted to post a request in the section on this forum for requesting patterns, to see if anyone knew which pattern it was or of something pretty similar. The problem is, I found the bracelet on Etsy. This is something someone is selling, so I feel like I shouldn't post a pic, since it's their picture, not mine. Does this site have a policy regarding posting other's pictures? What about posting a link to the item on the Etsy? Would that be allowed? I want to make sure I follow the rules. :) I do not sell my bracelets (and no one would by them, because I'm a total amateur), I make them for me and my daughter... Thanks for your input!

You can post a link to the picture here. As long as the maker gets credits, and as long as you do not ask for a reproduction of a pattern that is originally designed by someone else, it?s fine :-)

Thank you for your help, kleinevos! I appreciate it. :)

This is a link to the bracelet I'm hoping to find a pattern for: https://www.etsy.com/listing/604946270/southwest-bracelets-woven-southwestern?ref=shop_home_active_24

The shop is Bracelet Library on Etsy. She does lovely work.
Should I post this in the Pattern thread? Wasn't sure... Thanks again for your help!
